Grand Valley State University Fieldhouse Arena
Grand Valley State University’s Fieldhouse Arena renovation and expansion project will add much-needed space for classroom instruction and practice areas for GVSU’s student athletes with the addition of a new athletic training room, practice and competition space, and locker rooms. The 22,280-square-foot addition will add practice and competition areas for student groups like varsity wrestling, dance, cheerleading, STUNT, martial arts, and the police academy. The 3,900 square feet renovation of the current athletic training room will enhance the building’s study spaces for student athletes, as well as upgrade the Student Academic Advising Center and the Welfare and Development Office. Construction is expected to be completed in August 2023.
