Studio Park
Guided by the Grand Rapids DDA Arena South Visioning Plan, Studio Park, the 570,000 square-foot multi-phased urban mixed-use development, is situated on two former surface parking lots directly south of the Van Andel Arena. Phase 1 of the Studio Park development includes a nine-screen Celebration! Cinema with a 200-seat music venue and attached street-level tavern, a public piazza bordered by 104 apartments in two mixed-use structures housing restaurants, retail, and wellness venues, and a 900-space Studio Park(ing) ramp, a seven-story office headquarters lining the parking garage, and a four-star hotel. The first structure was unveiled in October 2019, with the office tower completed in 2021.
Phase 2, Studio Park’s residential tower (SPT), currently under construction, is designed atop the development’s six-story parking garage. This brings the building’s overall height to 22 stories, making it a prominent fixture in the Grand Rapids skyline. The tower has 165 apartments on 11 floors and approximately 28 condominiums on the top four floors. Amenities include a pool, terrace, fitness facility, community room, and a pickleball court.
