Corewell Health Mixed-Use Housing

Corewell Health is working to support its residency and fellowship programs and attract new candidates by replacing one of its existing surface parking lots with The Karl and Patricia Betz Resident Physician Living Center, a mixed-use housing development.

Located just north of I-196 in the Monroe North neighborhood, the six-story, 118-unit building is designed to address housing challenges faced by new team members. With short times between matching into programs and starting them, the building would provide an easier transition for new residents and fellows seeking housing.

Additionally, the development includes 6,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space, creating opportunities for new businesses to contribute to the vibrancy of the Monroe North neighborhood.
