Harsha Behavioral Center

A multi-generational facility, the center serves children, adolescents, and senior adults. Abundant natural light, access to the out-of-doors combine to help create an inpatient hospital that connects patients and visitors to the natural environment. Using basic materials and a one-story floor plan, the facilities design maximizes flexibility and future expansion. The building features a healing corridor for patient and staff movement between wings and dining room, large courtyards for natural light and patient enjoyment, full-service kitchen/dining, laundry, gym, ambulance entry, and administrative offices.

Client Endorsement:

“IA designed a 60,000 square foot hospital building for us. We were very pleased with the result, so we asked them to design our home. The firm had excellent follow-through and responsiveness. They were a pleasure to work with.”
