The YMCA of Greater Flint

The YMCA of Greater Flint and Uptown Reinvestment Corporation Foundation partnered to construct a mixed-use facility in downtown Flint designed to co-locate affordable housing, a community wellness center, and youth education and family programming. The building includes approximately 55,000 square feet for the new YMCA facility. The new Downtown Flint YMCA includes a six-lane lap pool, family splash pad, spa, locker rooms, a full-length basketball court, as well as a running and walking track. It also includes a cardio and weight room, common rooms for community partners and educational programs, and space for a health partner to co-locate onsite.
