Welcome to the Team
We had five interns join the Integrated Architecture team!
Maddie Tay has returned to IA as an Architectural Intern. She is a Northview High School graduate and will enter her senior year at the University of Michigan this fall. Studying architecture with a minor in environmental science, Maddie is interested in the intersection between the built and natural worlds, and how design and sustainability can be mutually beneficial. Maddie is eager to continue her learning experience this summer and is excited to both observe and contribute to the design process. In her free time, she enjoys running, being outside, tending to her plants, and cooking.
Tyler Krol joins us as an Accounting Intern. He is a sophomore at Calvin University and is excited to join IA's accounting team and to learn more about the field outside of a school setting. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as staying active through biking and skiing.
Amelie Pachter joins the team as an Architectural Intern. Amelie completed her BS in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in May and is continuing with her Master of Architecture while working at IA. She enjoys being outside, whether for leisure or to be active. Having moved to Michigan from Colorado about four years ago, she's found that one of her favorite things here is the sky and how the clouds make for great sunrises and sunsets.
Stella Bolkema joins the team as an Interior Design Intern! She is entering her senior year at Michigan State University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Stella is passionate about using design to promote well-being and improve the user experience. She's excited to gain firm experience this summer as she learns from the IA team and contributes to projects.
Olivia Wilcox joins IA this summer as an Architectural Intern. She is working on her B.S. in Architecture at the University of Michigan.
