Combining a passion for aviation with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial brilliance is at the heart of Amway, characteristics reinforced in this addition to the Amway Hangar complex. Serving as Amway’s global front door, the facility welcomes business partners from around the world with contemporary meeting spaces and an efficient flight department. The aviation foundation of the Amway partnership is celebrated with a suspended Piper Cub training plane, memorializing the first VanAndel and DeVos business venture, Wolverine Flight School. The second level wraps the tail of the Piper Cub as its wings stretch over the passenger lounge. The 40,000 SF operations and hangar addition, a football field in length, sits on the eastern side of the original 1984 Boeing Hanger. . Not just a home to planes, its polished white floor and soaring column-free span does double duty as a large assembly space for thousand-person banquets, fund-raisers and celebrations featuring B-17 Bombers and WWII veterans.
