Sand, Shovels, Hard Hats and MMPC

May 2009

Physicians, management team and Greenville citizens gathered at the site of the new MMPC Greenville office on a beautiful spring morning in late May to break ground for the 15,000 SF building that will be home to both primary care and specialty physicians.

The new office, designed to earn a U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED, certification will be Greenville’s first LEED building. Filled with natural light and built with environmentally friendly materials, the office will support health care providers and create a healthy, healing atmosphere. The patient-focused, state-of-the-art medically-efficient facility represents mmpc’s leading-edge healthcare focus while offering the people of the Greenville community a convenient, sustainably designed facility. It is expected to open in early 2010.

Shovels in hand, ceremonial sand flew May 20 as mmpc’s Greenville physicians (L to R) Gregory Page, MD, Timothy Helder, MD, Shawn Ruth, DO, Kevin Reed, DO participated in the ground breaking event. The new facility will be located at 707 S. Greenville West Drive.
