City of Auburn Hills and the Saugatuck Center for the Arts

IA’s Executive Vice President and Design Principal, Mike Corby, AIA, LEED AP and Sustainable Coordinator, Levi Gardner, LEED AP are featured presenters at the City of Auburn Hills Sustainable Seminar: Green Building Design, Good for the Environment, Good for the Bottom Line. Levi will present on the LEED rating system and Mike will discuss How to Build Green—the Integrated Design Process.

The Green Building Design event runs from 8 am to Noon, Thursday March 27 in the Auburn Hills Community Center, 1827 N. Squirrel Road. Free and open to the public, pre-registration is required. Contact Shawn Keenan at (248) 391-3777.

Experts in green design, IA has been creating sustainable architecture for nearly a decade. Projects include the nation’s first LEED YMCA and LEED church as well as the AIA top 10 COTE winner and landmark sustainable project the Gold LEED Herman Miller MarketPlace.

The Saugatuck Center for the Arts marks International Earth Day Thursday, March 20th, with a presentation of GREEN DESIGN by IA Sustainable Coordinator, Levi Gardner. Levi will discuss the development and evolution of the green design movement and how we can advocate for social and environmental change through design.
