Integrated Architecture is pleased to announce the appointment
of Tom Kaywood, RA, as Senior Project Manager.
Toms
rich experience in the educational arena and strong client
focus adds strength to IAs K-12 and higher education
efforts, Paul Dickinson, AIA, President said. As
a Senior Project Manager, Kaywood will be in charge of a
number of projects, working closely with the client, the
design team and the project architect to assure that each
effort runs smoothly, completing on time and on budget.
A
Grand Rapids native and graduate of West Catholic High School
and The University of Notre Dame School of Architecture,
Kaywood describes his education as traditional and his approach
as people and detail oriented. Ive wanted to
be an architect ever since high school when I was able to
connect the dots between my interest in drafting and math.
After I graduated from Notre Dame, I began as a designer
and worked into project management. As a result, Ive
been exposed to all aspects of the business, and I use that
knowledge to make sure my clients are well served and my
projects are a success, Kaywood stated.
Im
excited about working with the IAs creative, green
design team and look forward to managing projects that will,
years from now, be recognized for their positive impact
on the environment and the community, Kaywood said.
Kaywood
lives in Ada Township with his wife, son and daughter. A
volunteer fire fighter, he is in the process of becoming
a certified medical first responder.
