to achieve U. S. Green Building Council LEED (Leadership
in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification, the David
D. Hunting YMCA will be Michigan’s first LEED YMCA—and
one of the first in the nation. The new green facility filled
with natural light, fresh air and healthy materials will
also offer long-term financial efficiencies.
