Lamar Construction wanted to create a landmark office for
their business, they turned to IA to design an office that
will literally float above the tool room and carpentry shop.
The project included analysis of floor vibration and actions
to minimize any movement of the cantilevered office complex.
The 100-foot-long span creating the cantilevered office dropped
just 3/4 of an inch when the supports were removed. |
